Maintenance Collection Procedure

Effective January 1, 2022

Please be aware that the Florida Legislature enacted certain rules regarding an Association’s rights to take legal action to collect past due maintenance.

Royal Park’s maintenance is due on the 1st day of each quarter:  January, April, July and October. After which, payments made after the 1st day of each quarter it is considered late. The Association, as in the past, will accept your payment up until the 10th of each payment month before adding a $25.00 late fee. If you have not paid you will be receiving a letter showing what amount you owe.

You will then have 30 days from the date of that letter to pay all monies owed to the association in full. If you have not paid in full on the 31st day, you will be sent to the association’s attorney for collection which in turn will include legal fees. There will be no exceptions.

If you are not sure if you owe the association any money, please contact the office and speak with our bookkeeper. Some might owe small amounts from the past. Call to avoid additional legal fees.
