Hurricane Eta Flooding & Clean Up

Hurricane Eta’s excessive rain has caused flooding around the Royal Park Community and outside the complex. The massive amounts of rain in the weeks prior to storm combined with high tide resulted in flooding not seen in quite some time.

The Association is working on clean up efforts, including garbage pickup from recycling containers that blew over and removal of fallen trees.

The canal water is beyond the association’s control. The canal waters must recede and hopefully our area will remain dry from rain in the coming days so water settles in the soil, evaporates and flood waters can drain properly.
